We are a friendly Stirling based Arboricultural Company, which is commonly referred to as Tree Surgery. Although we primarily specialise in large and dangerous tree works we undertake a huge variety of other tasks such as formative pruning of small trees & hedges to yearly maintenance contracts.

Heartwood Trees Scotland Ltd was established in 2006 and became a Limited Company in 2014. We are currently enjoying year on year growth based on two very simple criteria: hard work and efficiency, which insures value for money at every turn for all of our customers.

Dom and Chris have many years of working closely together on a variety of projects but as Heartwood Trees Scotland Ltd has grown from strength to strength it was a natural progression for Chris to become a full time member of the company.
The managing director of the company is Dom Mearns with over 20 years experience in the trade. Dom has achieved many qualifications over his career starting with an HND from the Scottish School of Forestry in 1993 and is an approved Scottish Power contractor.

Chris has a background in landscape management and studied at the Barony College Dumfries, where he gained his HND in Forestry in 2009. He then gained all relevant NPTC qualifications in Arboriculture and is an approved Scottish Power contractor. Chris covers Glasgow and the West of Scotland. contact
